Privacy Policy
Payday Flo helps you plan your money around every paycheck. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and the choices you have.
The short version. Your budget — your income, bills, buckets, goals and debts — is stored on your device. We don't require an account, we don't run ads or third-party trackers in the app, and we never sell your personal information. This version of the app does not connect to your bank.
1. Who we are
Payday Flo (the "App") is provided by Neon Path Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a limited liability company based in Ohio, USA. Questions about this policy or your data: help@neonpathlabs.com.
2. Information you provide
Budget data
Everything you enter to build your budget — income, bills, buckets, savings goals, debts, account names and balances, and transactions — is created by you and stored on your device. We do not receive a copy of it.
Account details (optional)
You can use the App without an account. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive a private, app-specific identifier and — only if you choose to share them — your name and an email address (which may be an Apple relay address). We use this to recognize you across your devices and to apply any subscription or promotional access granted to you.
3. Information collected automatically
We may receive limited technical and diagnostic information, such as app version, device type and operating system, and crash or performance diagnostics, to keep the App working reliably. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the App.
4. iCloud sync
If you use the App on more than one device signed in to the same Apple ID, your budget data can sync between them using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. That data travels between your devices through your own iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy policy. Neon Path Labs cannot access it. Turning off iCloud for the App in your device settings stops this sync.
5. Face ID and device lock
The App offers an optional Face ID / Touch ID lock. Authentication is performed entirely by iOS on your device. We never receive, store, or transmit biometric data.
6. Notifications
With your permission, the App schedules local notifications on your device — bill-due reminders, payday alerts, and credit-limit warnings. These are generated on your device from your own data and are not sent from a server. You can turn them off at any time in the App's settings or in iOS Settings.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through in-app purchase. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. We receive information about which plan is active and its status. We never receive your full payment card details — those are handled by Apple.
8. Bank connections
This version of Payday Flo does not connect to any bank or financial institution. Every balance and bill in the App is entered by you.
If we introduce optional bank connectivity in a future release, we intend to use Plaid Inc. You would enter your banking credentials directly with Plaid — we would never see or store your bank login credentials — and we would receive only limited, tokenized account information needed to provide budgeting features. That handling would be governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We will update this policy before any such feature becomes available, and connecting an account would always be your choice.
9. How we use information
- To provide and operate the App's budgeting and planning features.
- To manage your subscription and apply your entitlements across your devices.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix bugs.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
10. How we share information
We share information only in these limited cases:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
11. Data retention and deletion
Your on-device budget data stays until you delete it or remove the App. Deleting the App removes its local data from that device. To clear synced data, also turn off or remove the App's iCloud data in your device's iCloud settings.
Account and subscription records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then deleted or de-identified. To request deletion of any information associated with your account, email help@neonpathlabs.com.
12. Security
We protect information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), platform device-level encryption for data stored on your device, least-privilege access to our systems, and secure handling of tokens and credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we maintain an internal information-security program and work to protect your information.
13. Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, and deletion. Most of your data lives on your device and is fully under your control. For anything associated with your account, contact us.
- Notifications. Turn them on or off in the App or in iOS Settings.
- iCloud sync. Disable it for the App in your device's iCloud settings.
- Subscriptions. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
- California residents. You may request access to or deletion of personal information and are entitled not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.
- EEA/UK residents. You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us to exercise them.
14. Children's privacy
Payday Flo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
